IMPACT FEES

IDAHO HAS BECOME THE NATIONS ‘POSTER CHILD’ FOR EMINENT DOMAIN ABUSES.

IMPACT FEES combined with responsible Local Government, is the only method to hold New Growth responsible for the burdens it places on nearby Communities that provides schools, services, fire & police protection, etc.

Impact fees are used by all States, out of fairness to Taxpayers, to hold Land Speculators & Developers financially responsible for the Impact that their business ventures have on Communities Property Tax bills.

Idaho’s Realtor, Developer & Contractor Cartel lobbyists & Political insiders have been very effective in defeating all ‘legitimate’ Annexation Reform Legislation Bills that would replace Forced Annexation with citizen’s Voting Rights.

The Cartel’s political insiders have used Idaho’s flawed Eminent Domain Law, to keep Forced Annexations in force. This combination forces all Taxpayers to SUBSIDIZE the private ventures of Developers & Land Speculators.

The Boise City Council’s long and heavily contested use of FORCED ANNEXATION BY IMPLIED CONSENT, has made our Capitol City the ‘testing-grounds’ for Forced Growth occurring Statewide.

The Planning & Zoning members are also employees of the Building and Construction Industry. This conflict of Interest has greatly increased citizens distrust in what appears to be CORPORATE RULED Government.

Meridian Senator & Developer Hal Bunderson has been the ‘point-man’ in defeating previous Citizens for Annexation Reform Bills and prevented printing of the most recent C.A.R. Bill.

Welcome to Vote for a Better Idaho

Use of this Website’s list of VOTING RECORDS on past Annexation Reform Bills will provide additional insight into ’your’ Legislator’s role in protecting or defeating your Voting & Property Rights.

There are also Links to the Legislature on the HOME PAGE of this website.

There can be ‘no’ SMART GROWTH decisions made until Citizen’s Voting Rights are restored. FORCED ANNEXATION places Urban Sprawl and ’your’ escalating Property Taxes, squarely into the hands of Developers and their political operatives in State & Local Governments.
