Idaho Real Estate: Annexation Reform and Eminent Domain Information by Vote for a Better Idaho

Idaho has become the Nations Poster-Child for Property Rights, Eminent Domain & Taxation Abuse.

Floods of families and business are moving to Idaho, many with dreams of rural county lifestyle, only to be forcibly Annexed into a nearby City against their will.

These rampant Statewide Forced Annexations terminate property rights purchased in good faith and greatly increase property taxes, pricing many out of their homes. A family's property tax taxes can increase from $2,000.00 to $6,000.00 in one year.

Citizen outrage prompted a 2005 Legislative Property Tax committee to study the issue, this study was largely chaired by Developer friendly legislators who passed a $25,000.00 property tax exemption. Increased 2006 Property Tax Assessments absorbed the exemption for most homes valued above $200,000.00.

Many move to Idaho with dreams to improve their family's lifestyles, most now have deep regrets and wish they had made other relocation choices.

This website and information is provided as a Public Service, providing individuals & business with an opportunity to make fully informed re-location decisions.

PROSPECTIVE BUYERS OF IDAHO REAL ESTATE BEWARE

You must demand the hard facts and truth from Realtors your dealing with. Lobbyists for Idaho Realtor's Association, Developers & Contractor Association, Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) and their legislators keep Idaho's Forced Annexation in force.
